Slopitch's post got me thinking.
If it comes to a shootout, who's it gonna be ?

My choices.....

Canada
Lemieux
Yzerman
Sakic
Kariya
Shanahan

USA
Hull
LeClair
Roenick
Modano
Housley

In Nagano, Canada did a pitiful job of picking in the shootout, will be better this time around.

it should never come down to a shootout. play 3 overtime periods instead of one. if you have to but please no shootout.

Vancouver, Canada
Canada:
Wickenheiser
Ouellette
The Hansen brothers (all three at once)
Gretzky
Don Cherry

USA:
Jack (the monkey in MVP)
Blue (Cherry's pit bull)
My Favourite Martian
Mr. Ed
The Beastie Boys (all three at once)

You got that right Selkirk, shootouts suck. Problem is I didn't buy enough beer and chips to last three periods of OT.

LMAO @ Tiger. :D

I would say Canada definitely has the upper hand if the game goes to a shoot-out.

I'm pumped to watch this gold medal game, haven't been this excited to watch a hockey game since Gretz took the Kings to the Stanley Cup Finals. At least to me, the Olympic hockey is by far more exciting than the NHL, with the international size rink, and the rules favoring wide-open ice play. It's gonna take a little while for me to get used to the NHL play once it resumes on Tuesday.

BTW Go USA :D and GL to All

I'm piggybacking the majority of the forum here and taking over5, as well.
