Any teams which are particular good or poor in shootouts?

Also, any books except Canbet offering the "Advance" option? Thx.

CTG...

No need to look any further than the Germans in the shootouts... keep their nerve with their spotkicks and have Oliver Kahn in goal.

Not to be trusted: England ;)

Monarch - forgot to mention this a while back. Was real surprised to read about Becks' pen v the Argies when he said he asked Owen if he wanted it...

U fuggin what?????

World Cup finals and u still haven't decided whose taking the pens!!!! Incredible!!

Understandable for the the mighty Claudelands Rovers Over 30s side who draw playing positions out of a hat when we're preparing to thump piss poor student teams like Waikato Unicol 8-2 on Sat :D  but a tad rough at this level

Christ, I can just imagine the quarter final pen shootout v Brazil...

"Danny, u keen on one? Dave??" :D

Poor late showing by the Irish. They missed one penalty kick in the 2nd. And I thought they'd be in good shape for the shootout, considering Raul and Morientes were out of the game already.

Too bad, Ireland. Nice tournament. Enjoyed watching that team.

Idle thought while watching my money burn...

What happens if one team has 10 players (due to red card or injury with no more substitutions allowed) and the match goes to sudden-death penalty kicks? Granted it is unlikely that the first 10 shooters will match results, but there must be a rule in place for this scenario.
