Should the Cowboys start Dak Prescott?

No I don't think so. Romo is very good in that offense when healthy. Same song and dance every year. They go as far as he goes
only if their opponents start the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th stringers on defense
or until Romo gets hurt (over/under is week 4)

He's had his chances I don't think he will....age and health are not in his favor at all. His playing a full season days are over unfortunately. I like Romo a lot but think he leaves the game without a ring
If he plays all season this year I think he will. He just got hit wrong and broke his collarbone I think he's got a lot of football left,he's only 37,Tom Brady 39 I don't think he's wash-up yet either. Cowboys have one of the best offence lines in the league
How he didn't get drafted until the 4th round is beyond me. Size, talent, arm, makes all the throws and played in the toughest division of the toughest conference for 4 or maybe 5 years. I would've thought 2nd round at the latest. I'm sure he can learn a lot from TR. I'm just glad he's in the NFL now :lol:.
I hate he's gone. Dallas definelty got a steal in the 4th round. Dak will study and work his ass off until he's the starter.

They definitely did get a steal! I'm glad your going to the game again; maybe we will have a better chance to win with Dak gone, but Mullen has owned us. We will probably have to outscore people though. Spring game 2nd team OL was pushing around 1st team DL; plus we've already lost a returning DL (Regie Meant) in fall camp. LB's are very inexperienced. Only strength on defense is secondary, but if they are having to tackle all the time that will get old. However it comes out, enjoy your trip. My son and I may be going up for the Vandy game, I haven't seen them play in person in a long time. Hail State!
Avoid any under plays on games Cats involved in.

It's preseason, but another SOLID performance by this kid!! He will never start over Romo unless he gets hurt, but would be great to see him under his wing a full season to learn. I like the chemistry he's developing with Dez!! VERY important right there!
your are right about Dak he is the real deal Tony better watch out he my become the back-up
No chance.....Jerry would never alloy that. They would fake an injury before humiliating Romo like that if he indeed plays that terrible to be benched. Jerry loves Romo and always will favor him

But I'm not crowning any rookie based off of a few pre-season games.....dak looked sharp but he wasn't chucking it vs 11 NFL starters....big time difference.
Romo is legit. I didn't think so of him early on....I felt like he was catipulted into the top Escalon of guys before doing anything special...but overtime watching him, I continue to be amazed....should of had a chance to play in Seattle 2 years ago for conference championship but the Dez "no catch" b.s. would not allow it....and that was a catch....I didn't think it would stand by the rules, but the rules are dumb....
I think he has 3 years left of quality play....2 with Dallas for sure....if he doesn't win I think jerry turns it over to whomever is ready...but it's crazy to think dak should be starting over Romo right now....kids never played a meaningful snap in his life. With all rookie qbs starting in recent years, and having some success, ppl expect it always to be the case....
