Unreal. Unfortunately, I have to report bad news for this homefront. Samantha lost her job today.....due to "cutbacks." She, apparantly, was in the "lucky" 10% that got the hook. She went into work this morning, got called into a room with her boss, and that's that. She had been with this company for just over 3 years. The severence offered to her is one months pay + $1500 (which they deem is the cost of finding a new job). My first reaction is that this is kinda low? Is my thinking wrong and should I just be happy that they offered her anything?! Thoughts?
