England, u.k.
Perhaps no team looks forward to the all star break more than Utah Jazz. This veteran team had a respectable first half to the year, presently siting third in the Mid-West, and fifth overall in the conference with a record of 28-20.

Just before the break the Jazz were showing signs of tiredness, losing five of their last eight games. They headed into the break having played six games in nine nights, a ton of work for the aging stars, Stockton and Malone.

IF HISTORY MEANS ANYTHING, THE BREAK WILL DO THEM GOOD.

Looking back over the seasons the Jazz have been awesome after the all star break. Utah always appear re-charged. Last year the Jazz won and covered six straight games (all on the road). They won as 2.5 point puppies in Indiana, then as 7 point dogs in Philli, followed by wins in Toronto, New York, Cleveland and Denver.

2001 had similar results. Utah lost their first game (OT loss to the Kings) but then won the next five SU and ATS, beating Knicks, Kings, Blazers, Celtics and Sonics.

That's an 11-1 record both SU and ATS. Looking back to 2000, they once more lost their first game after the all star break at home to the Celtics by 2 points, But wait, they then went on to win five straight and 14 of their next fifteen. That's a three year trend of 16-2 in the six games following the all star break.

Looking ahead to the Jazz's next six games, the Jazz play a home and home series with the Rockets, followed by home games against the Wizzards, T-Wolves, Lakers and Nuggets.

WILL THE TREND CONTINUE ?

I expect the Jazz to win about 46-48 game's this season. nobody expected them to even make the playoffs this year but guy's like Matt Harpering and Andre the giant have been key for Utah's sucsess. I personally stay away from the Jazz most of the time and i dont believe in trend's, stat's ect.
They should split thier home and home with the Rockets, dont know about the T-Wolves or Wizards, they will lose to the Lakers but they will rebound v.s the Nuggets.
