still sliding, on the wrong sides of late inning heroics and shocking performances. sox win 8-0 last night making for a great time at the ballpark but a nice big shit sandwich with the total at 9-er. at the break, i called for the cards to falter in the second half, partly due to the decline of carpenter and it seems that's happening. 3.74ERA v 2.93 for the season, 4.75k/9 down from 7.4 season avg, over the last 5 games vs non-elite hiting teams with the exception of @CINCY. this could be the signal to start fading carpenter, especially when he's a big fave.
