In Thursday night's Miami debate, John Kerry reiterated his pledge to raise taxes on successful small business owners and entrepreneurs. The fact is that ninety percent of businesses pay taxes through the individual income tax, not the corporate income tax, and they have benefited from the President's tax relief. Kerry's call to repeal tax cuts for the "wealthy" would increase taxes on hundreds of thousands of successful small businesses and entrepreneurs, causing many small businesses to pay a higher tax than corporations. That's unfair and it's bad for the economy.

President Bush is counting on entrepreneurs and small business owners to reject Senator Kerry and his plans to raise taxes. But the President needs your help. This election will be as close as 2000 and every vote is important. With the Pennsylvania voter registration deadline on October 4th, Pennsylvania entrepreneurs have just 2 days left to register their friends, family, neighbors, work colleagues, and fellow small business owners.

Pennsylvania Small Business Owners: Pennsylvania's voter registration deadline is October 4th. Take action TODAY by getting just 3 people to register at www.VoteforGeorgeWBush.com. Remember: you have only 2 days left.

Kerry's victory will be not a moment too soon to save this nation from the ravages of Big Energy and the erosion of liberty a'la the Supreme Court.

Well, see MY income tax rate will not increase under Kerry cuz I don't make the huge money - but if I did I would be happy to pay it. As for capital gains -- I haven't had any since Clinton was in office. I've still got lots of losses I can use to offset any gains for several years now.

Did you forget that it was Clinton and the Democrats who added the $.50 federal gasoline tax. Tell me you don't buy any.

djv--once again that is pretty skewed information. it is true, but there are also more and more people thinking that they can go out on their own and make a small business work. Until they see what businesses really do, quit, and go back to humping it for someone else because they couldn't cut it. Simply put, the Democratic way is to make it tougher for small businesses to succeed, so really they are only making big corporations more powerful because startups can not compete.

I know that is lopsided logic, but I thought I would throw something out there that the Dems would understand.

All one has to do is look who organizations such as National Federation of Independent Businesses "are" and have backed adamantly in the past.

We have 3 small business owners in this thread and and no secret what they think.

Do you really think small business owners are going to back those that attribute to one of there biggest expenses, liabilty insurance.
GET REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
