Follow baseball, but don't post picks because I don't do many. Quick rant about MLB, thouh.

MLB claims to be trying to grow the game, reach out to younger fans, blah, blah, blah. Then why are there only 9 games on a Friday? Can't claim it's due to the pandemic because I recall a reduced slate when the 4th of July was on a Thursday. Also, this Memorial Day there's 13 out of a possible 15 games. At least the 4th of July is Saturday this year.

In the grand scheme of things this is a minor issue, but I loved baseball growing up and weekends (Friday's included) and summer holidays were all about baseball.

Because alot of teams had their home openers yesterday and always an open day after

Bullshit reasoning by the MLB. The White Sox started the season on the road on the West Coast last Thursday and played 7 straight games, 4 in Anaheim and 3 in Seattle. Then flew home from Seattle and had their home opener yesterday playing 8 straight days and are off today Friday. Would have made more sense to have their home opener today having yesterday off. Then starting tomorrow they play 12 straight days. And the MLB says they are trying to save the pitchers arms. :mj07:
