i'm baaaaaaaaaaack. took the beating of my life last week, took a couple days off, refocused, and went 4-0 yesterday between hoops and fb. time to do the same in the nfl. i really like a few games on this card.
pitt (-3) 2 units. pitt manhandled this cincy team 6 weeks ago. what's changed? not much. pitt really needs to get back on track after the monday night debacle. i do not understand the love affair with the bengals. just last week they gave up 29 POINTS IN THE SECOND HALF TO BALTIMORE!! baltimore would have trouble scoring that many points in an entire game against a decent pop warner team. roethlisberger will be fine.
tenn (+16) 3 units. i can't explain this one. i'm sure indy won't be too focused on the mighty titans. the line looks like they want indy money. well, they won't get it from me.
cleveland (+3) 2 units. jacksonville has been very good to me the last couple years. but they have not been good road chalk. and now they're laying 3 on the road with david gerrard behind center. gimme those points, thank you very much.
dallas (+3.5) 2 units. seems like everybody loves the giants today. well, dallas has only lost one game this year by more than 3 points. that was a 6-point loss at oakland that ended with dallas at the goal line. they followed up their biggest win (blowing out philly) with their worst effort of the year against the giants. and they still beat ny. they'll play better today. what? barclay loves the giants? make my play 3 units on dallas. yeah, i hate going against worm, but i think barclay being on the same side negates that.
new orleans (+4) 2 units. tough to take the saints. very tough. but tb is coming off two big games (the win at atlanta and the tough loss last week to chicago) and they have carolina next week. and they have chris simms at qb. if the saints have any life left in them, they're gonna show it today.
