FINALLY. it's the weekend, and there is a nice slate of games to choose from. these are the games that jumped out at me. literally. if i hadn't ducked in time, the ODU game woulda knocked me over. :scared
butler (-6.5) 2 units. i was on indiana st against indiana. i then jumped on ball st vs indiana st in their next game. neither game was ever really in doubt. i'm going to continue going against indiana state for now. i already liked this game. but for me, the icing on the cake was.... any time i'm looking at a small-medium sized favorite (laying roughly 4-9 points), one of the biggest factors for me is free throw shooting, since the fav will normally be winning by a score close to the spread, and the other team will be fouling to get back into the game. other than polk, the guys butler will have on the floor at the end of the game are all very solid free throw shooters.
louisville (PK) 1 unit. i think louisville is the better team here. kentucky has already been exposed a few times this year. but this line seems a little fishy to me. maybe i'm being paranoid, but that's why this is only a 1-unit play for me.
ODU (-6.5) 3 units. i saw this line and i started salivating. are you kidding me? depaul is only getting 2.5 points less than they were getting at wake? after BEATING wake? this line is BEGGING for depaul money. only thing that keeps this from being a 4-unit play for me... this also falls in the same range as the butler game. but odu is not a particularly strong FT shooting team. i don't think this one will come down to FT's, but you never know.
