last 2 days haven't been pretty. but i'm feeling good about these plays. of course, that could be the beer talking....
syracuse (+1.5) 2 units. ok, maybe i'm not feeling so good about this play. in fact, my first instinct was to take the mountaineers. looked like money in the bank. of course, my first thought was also what a square play that was, and i see 80% on wv. i have told myself wv is strictly a 'play-against' right now. wish i'd listened to myself on saturday. anyways... ever since pittsnogle became a dad, wv has struggled. just a coincidence, i'm sure. so while i could give you a thousand reasons why wv is the play here (no doubt they are a MUCH better team), my money is on, *gulp*, the orange.
santa clara (+5.5) 2 units. woe is the poor broncos. 2-9 in conference. just got back from hawaii. they've lost 10 of their last 11 games. the dons beat 'em at home by 8. but they're only catching 5.5 points? ok, i'll bite. gimme those points.
