Just because it's on the menu doesn't mean it's good. I'm guessing this is what they do with the previous day's unused fish.

I love smoked fish as well... bagels and lox is a perfect example where smoked salmon and cream cheese go together. Add some tomato and capers... good shit!

Been going to this place for many years, some of the best fish/sushi around.

ps... why do you make shit up like in your first sentence, how about just calling them?

I never claimed the restaurant sucks or uses inferior ingredients.

In response to you post script...
While I concede it is merely speculation on my part I think it's pretty damn likely. Think about it...

I'm not sure why you find it so surprising that you get negative feedback on occasion when you post every little baby step of your day looking for validation. Most would have realized by now that one should expect to take some hits after they've been fired upon numerous times in the past. When you post the number of times that you do, you're not always going to be getting a pat on the back. If you do not wish to have all of the attention that you receive, (which we all know is not the case) then take a step back and see if you can go an hour without sharing. Quality over quantity is usually a good motto to live by.

In addition, everybody says that their sushi restaurant is the best. What doe one have to compare to if they always eat at the same place? It's like your TV, when it's at your house it looks the best because it isn't sitting next to 45 other ones. Not saying your place is not any good, because I haven't been there, but I have eaten at over 75 different sushi places all over the US and it doesn't matter how big they are, or what city they're in, there's good and bad everywhere.......So go to your favorite place, and eat your favorite roll and be satisfied, like 99% of the rest of us on this site. If for whatever reason somebody asks you what you had, then by all means share it with them, however I don't think there will be a need for you to be looking for that request every 30 seconds.

SO go and enjoy and remember sushi chefs love when you mix your wasabi into your soy sauce.

:0074 :0074 :0074 :0074

maybe one day you could give us some REAL input on sushi. I dont think anyone wants to hear the tales of the boys eating last weeks leftover fish and him calling it classy.

I mix my wasabi into my soy sauce, always have, always will. I like it that way. Also, I dip the rice side into the wasabi soup first and not the fish side.

I also eat Ketchup on my hot dogs.

I like my whisky with some diet coke or 7up.

Just a rebel without a cause.

A-fucking men. My thoughts after seeing the pic. Only a noob gets smoked salmon and globs of cream cheese in seaweed.
