Thanks Woodpony, have always been a longtime fan of your selections, also I have kept an eye on your parlays of late. Just curious do you play the teams in your parlays straight up, or strictly just parlays?

Just parlays, because I play them at several outs and if I parlayed and played them straight, I would have too much riding. But If a early play kills a parlay and there is nothing late that I like, instead of eating the loss I will put in a S-bet on that team.

good luck and continue to roll...

First game on the slate:

Florida -110 @ New York
The fish and the mets go at it again after playing a wild one last night in shea. Although I was on the mets last night, I feel the fish had many chances to win, and let it slip through their fingers. Today should be a different story.

Pitching
Both pitchers have pitched well in the last three, both low era's and both have low whips's however the stat that stands out is run support. In the last three Dempster is getting 5.7 runs in support while Rusch is only getting 1.7 runs.
In the last ten the edge goes to dempster as he is 7-3 in that span and rusch is 4-6.
The marlins are also 5-1 in dempster's last six against the mets to include 2-0 in the last two at shea.
The mets are just 1-4 in Rusch's last five vs. the fish.
Hitting
This is where my question for this game arose: How can the mets be on a five game winning streak when they are not hitting the ball? The answer is an easy one as they are pitching well in those five wins they have three shutouts. They are not hitting in that time frame at all, as a matter of fact they are just hitting .218 against righties in the last ten scoring a meager 2.2 runs per game. The marlins in that same category are hitting 2.90 while scoring 5.9 runs per game.

Keep an eye on
Cliff Floyd is 7-14 .500 lifetime vs. Rusch

I am going to back the fish as they are also playing well of late winning 6 of the last eight.

Double Unit Selection:
Florida -110

Looking to turn two in the early game:
UNDER 8 -120

The good pitching numbers by these two and the poor hitting from the mets makes this a play. The weather also gives a helping hand as the forecast has the wind blowing in.

More to come...

BTW nice write-ups you do, some of you guys amaze me, I never had any luck doing write-ups always seemed to do the opposite of what I wrote about LOL....So I say let's all stick with what works for us and keep on winning.

Florida took it to the mets to cash my double selection, but with three errors and rusch hitting the ball I knew the total was in trouble.

Milwaukee vs. LA
I know wright is pitching well of late, but unless he gets three hits I can't see backing the brewers in this spot. The dodgers are hot and springer is no rookie and has an excellent record against the brewers. Look for the bottom of the dodger order to produce.

PLAY LA Pick 'em

Leaning towards the cards but will pass in this spot....
