LA @ Arizona +111 8U15

Hard to pass up the hot D-backs who have won nine straight, especially as a dog. Teams that are playing well just find a way to win, and the D-backs are playing very well of late. The Dodgers after winning five straight have managed to lose three out of the last five.

Park goes for the Dodgers tonight and he has been horrid on the road as the dodgers have lost the last five he has started, and it doesn't get any better at Arizona where the dodgers have lost the last three of his starts and his era in those starts was 12.66.

Reynoso hasn't been much better as he is 0-4 at home this year and although his team is 5-3 in his last eight vs. the dodgers the team has lost three straight. He has shown signs of life in his last two starts only allowing 2 earned runs, and nine hits in eleven innings.

Trends:
Dodgers
4-11 last 15 road games
5-11 @ Arizona since 99
7-12 in Game One of a series

Arizona
The D'backs are 13-5 in game one of a series overall
13-9 ( +1.9 units) versus LA since '96 @ Arizona

I'll back the hotter team at home plus the cash....

Arizona +111

Cleveland @ Minnesota -117 / 9.5O15

Minnesota comes in flip flopping wins and losses as they are 2-2 in the last four, the indians have won four out of the last five to include winning two out of three from the yankees in the bronx.

This is a big series for both teams, as this is the first meeting of the year. Both bats are smoking of late as both teams are batting over .300 vs righties in the last ten, Cle .322 Minn .302

Both pitchers are pitching well this season and of late:

Burba:
Season: 7-2, whip 1.60, era 5.31
L3: 2-0, 1.75, 4.58
career vs.:3-1, era 2.30
Team W/L L10:8-2
Team W/L vs. Twins:5-2

Mays:
Season: 7-3, .096, 2.62
L3: 2-1, 1.00, 3.43
career vs.:0-1, 4.15
Team W/L L10:7-3
Team W/L Vs Tribe:1-2

The tribe have the better offense as they now have a healthy lineup. The indians remember how seem key loses last year led to them missing the playoffs, and they will not take this team lightly tonight.

Trends:

indians:
CLE is 19-5 in their last 24 played on the road.
The Indians are 12-6 in game one of a series overall.
CLE is 15-8 overall vs. the AL Central.
Burba (R) 7-0 TSR night TY 3.89 ERA
16-5 last 21 road games
4-1 last 5 games
14-11 ( -5 units) versus MINN in the last 3 years

Burba:
20-5 last 25 road starts
22-4 last 26 starts
5-1 vs Minnesota last 6 starts
2-0 @ Minnesota in 2000

Twins:
3-10 last 13 home games in June
Mays (R) 6-3 TSR night TY 2.60 ERA

I look for a hard fought game and series, but I will take the hot hitting tribe with the vet on the hill, as I look for the young twins to be a bit tightly wound this evening...

Tribe +107

Other early games:

Boston @ NY

Like Pedro, but not about to drop the two bucks, or give the yankees a run in this rivalry especially in the bronx. Will add it to a side parlay.

Cin @ St. Louis
The reds and the over both have value, but passing on both...

back with the late games, later...
