Snopes receives funding from an undisclosed source. The source is undisclosed because Snopes refuses to disclose that source. The Democratic Alliance, a funding channel for uber-Leftist (Marxist) Billionaires (George Soros etc.), direct funds to an ?Internet Propaganda Arm? pushing these views. The Democratic Alliance has been reported to instruct Fundees to not disclose their funding source.
Snopes is (in part) owned by a company called Proper Media. If you take a look at their site, you can see that their CEO, Chris Richmond, is man of many projects. One of which is creator/owner of a site called ShareTV, which if you take a look at the location of the office of this project:
ShareTV is located in the 4th story of the NBC building in downtown San Diego.
We all know how much of a shitehole NBC is. Also via WikiLeaks we know they supported hillary; 1, 2, 3, 4...
Also, the Owner of MSNBC is Steve Burke. Another one of his roles is sitting on the Board of Directors for JPMorgan Chase who just so conveniently happen to be a Clinton donator.
