Snow Skiing in Alabama?

I found this place and am taking my girl skiing right here in Alabama this weekend! I am used to the big slopes of Colorado and Utah but am going to go have a blast spraying snow in the face of the locals just up the street from my house! If you are looking for a big mountain here in Alabama.......buy a picture!

You could have just up the road a little last week to Nashville to ski. We had 8 inches, total gridlock of the city

Is this that place over outside of Ft Payne on Sand Mountain?

That place looks worse than Ober Gatlinburg...How long a track is it....500ft...I hope you dont have to pay much!!!But its the best Alabama can offer so have fun showing up your buddies!!!Hey Duncan that picture looks like #16 hole the other day.

Yep.....this is just outside of Ft. Payne! Both runs are 1,000 feet long and have a walloping 150 ft. of Vertical!
