Going to wade in the pool tonight but not going to deep. Playing a small play on Both Tech +16.5 and under 50. Nothing really stands out to me when capping this game but going with Tech for the following reasons:
1. Proximity of the game to Blacksburg, should be about 80% siding with Tech at the stadium.
2. Tech traditionally comes out of the gate strong and folds in November
3. Loss of WIlliams forces a frosh to step up and the NCAA decision could alter the psyche of the men from troy but on the other hand it could motivate them,
4. Special teams, Tech always excels at this and usually get at least 3 points from the special teams unit.
No great trends for this game or any great insight into the game, just small plays for me. I still cant get out of my head just how poor Tech's defense was late in the year particularly against Cal so I cant back this team stronger until the defense shows some improvement!
