37-35-1 +1.8 units

Colorado +12.......(6 units)........I think we will see a different team the second half of the season. My concern for the Sooners is obviously big blow by loss of Peterson....add to the arrest on Sunday to the teams leading tackler and I can't trust P. Thompson to get it done. I expect the Sooners to throw the ball more, but double coverage on Kelly and the fact Buffs helf Texas Tech to 6 points and I like Buffs to hang in Sooner Nation. Oklahpma is 6-2-1 ATS in last 9 games, but will buck this as Jackson built some confidence this week. Buffs defense should keep this one tight. Pred. Ok. 20- Buff 17

Rutgers +6.5 (5 units)............I had this game capped as a pick em and was surprised to see the 6.5. I think this might be a see-saw affair but there is something special about this Rutgers team and this one may well come down to a field goal. The difference in this one may well come down to the defenses in which I feel Scarlet Knights hold an advantage. Palko will be the dark horse here, but wouldn't be surprised to see Rutgers take the win outright. I may play the over in this one too.....as the over is 7-1 in Pitt last 8 home games.

Tulsa -12.5 (5 units).............Memphis is really struggling this year while Golden Hurricane is hitting its stride. Tigers are usually tough at home, but this defense is giving up way too many yards on the ground. I don't think the offense will be able to keep up.....Pred. Tulsa 49- Mem. 20

My totals are taking a much needed break this week........may add a couple of more sides when I finish my caaping...

Good Luck folks.

I like Tulsa myself and am leaning towards Rutgers also. I have Pitt by 1 with one pr but by 11 with another...so the ave would be about what the man has for the game...but like you, I think Rutgers has something kinda special going for them this year. Gutsy call/reasoning on Colorado, but think you just may be right...Good Luck.

#Cruncher- It sounds like your numbers are similar to mine, and I have Pitt as a one point favorite also....although at .6.......I think we will see a good game with these two and hopefully it will come down to a field goal..............Yes....Colorado is a bit iffy, but Hawkins is a good coach and I think it has taken this team awhile to adjust to his system. I knew the guy when he coached High School ball, and he is a genius with the X's and O's.....I don't have an explanation for the slow start, but I think we will see a better team down the road.......I just have to think Peterson is a bigger blow to that Offense than most will let on!

Good Luck to you!

Peterson is a man playing w/ boys. I think OU offense struggles w/o him this weekend. GL:weed:

Played Over

Played Over

Disclaimer: My totals have been atrocious....:mj07:

UL Lafayette/FLorida Atlantic over 46 (-118) (3 units)

My totals haven't been treating too well, and I usually don't play games for fun, but I'm intrigued with this total and can't make a case for the under. Both teams haven't been world beaters defensively UL La. gives up 29 ppg) while (F.Atl. gives up 36.3 ppg).........Rajun Cajuns have exploded offensively averaging 37.3 ppg in last 3 match-ups; although the game against Houston Cougs was the most noteworthy. Florida Atlantic appears to have picked up the pace somewhat in their last outing against SO. Utah. What strikes me as interesting is the Cajuns love to run........averaging 209 yards per game on the ground....Owls give up an average of 184 yards on the ground.............I expect the Owls to pass the football in this matchup....which is a weakness of Ul. Laf. If they have success doing this I expect this game to hit the high 50's............The OVER is 7-1 in Fl. Atlantic last 8 games overall......small lean to the Cajuns, but will play the over for some fun money (3 units).

Good Luck!

Cie Grant- I agree about Peterson and this can't bode well for Sooner Psyche. Without Peterson I think Sooners struggle mightily! Thanks~

And that is why I should stay away from totals.......God, that Ul. Lafayette/Fl. Atl. was painful to watch.

So in keeping with my promise to stop the totals.....I played the Team Total W.Virginia over 19 first half and will hope Mountaineers get off to a fast start in the national spotlight.......W. Virginia over 19 Team Total (3 units)1st Half...Good Luck!

2 more plays:

2 more plays:

Auburn -32 (5 units)..........should be a very long day for Green Wave venturing out to SEC land. I don't know if they will score in this one, and all Tigers have to do is get to 35? With Miss on deck no look ahead, although there may be a slight letdown after emotional win at FLorida. Still, Auburn is 16-5 ATS in last 21 games in October. 6-2 ATS against teams with losing record.

SMU +6 (5 units).........ML play ...3 unts +190
I think the wrong team is favored here and expect the SMU offense to keep rolling against a run defense that is rated 110th. SMu defense has been playing very well.......and in a game where special teams might decide the outcome I go with the Mustangs........

Good Luck!
