As Obama says, can we go ahead and save that $700 Billion or so that hasnt been spent from the "stimulus" bill, and the $400 Billion and change from the omnibus spending bill which were all supposedly needed to save the economy? Might be an effective way to perhaps help that deficit thing Obama is suddenly worried about...or heck...it would pay for that healthcare bill.

I don't think anyone said the economy has been saved.

I guess they should have taken the Hoover way of no spending in 1929.

Now I hear the two journalists have been released in North Korea. Republicans are already being critical. A propaganda tool and negotiating with terrorists they say. The two families asked Clinton to go, and this is what he gets for it?

If it was a republican, faux noise would cancel all programing and laud the move for a week.

Don't choke on the dust as the world continues to pass you by.

i`ll ask...what has this foolishness by these "journalists" cost us?...

anybody with two neurons to rub together knows that kim got something for this chicanery...he continues to play us like fiddles...

will it mean more humanitarian aid so that the regime can spend what little it does have on its military capabilities? ...or has the u.s.given assurances to not engage in military activities against north korea?

the two journalists(idiots) will now be hailed as heroes by the msm....

thanks,ling and lee....great job...

Typical response lately from the right wing - when you can't agree or say something, start another false rumor.

Senator Lindsey Graham (R) South Carolina said it was a great day for America. I agree and was hoping for a better response.

am i happy they`re coming home?...yeah...

but it gets tiresome when these idjits( "leftist citizen journalists.") hamstring our country/foreign policy decisions because of stupid,self-serving stunts.... they have no connection to reality, and don't want one,obviously...

"but-but...we're progressives!...we're obama supporters! ...we're on your side!"...

/weasel does a facepalm:rolleyes:

well,newsflash!....things are a little different in n.korea and iran....they have real dictators in charge( not make believe ones like "the chimperor")....

these "ladies" weren't "hikers", these were people who thought anything they did was just fine, and everyone would defer to their good intentions.....

moonbat logic,in other words...

:director: "attention all hikers and citizen journalists....stay the f-ck away from the borders of enemy countries with theocratic or secular despotic dictators"....

why?....cause these psychopaths just love to catch a western "fish", don't they?...and the media circus that usually ensues is the equivalent of stuffing it and hanging it over their mantel.....
