Got some $$$$ on Miami and G.Bay before season started..
Just played : New England- yes I do think they ARE that good, at 12-1 ..

: DENVER - 2 very good wins under their belt have to have them believing in themselves, at 10 to 1..
O.K. who am I missing that you guys have ???
I can't get excited about anybody else. Rams are not doing a hell of alot to impress....I refuse to bet anybody under 10 to 1....

Okay, I'll bite at this.....

In the AFC, it's imposible not to like what we have seen thusfar from New England. This is the best coached team in the league (I still insist that in terms of talent, the Patriots are middle of the pack). They are not only winning games, but get impresive victories where both the defense and offense has looked stellar. Add the fact the Patriots are going to be targets every week, and it's quite a feat by this team that they have not experienced a letdown. As secondary picks in the AFC, look to Denver, Miami, and Oakland. However, I'm still not convinced the Denver defense is solid. The Raiders will probably go 11-5, then lose in the playoffs in typical Oakland fashion. Miami looks to be solid, but I still don't trust Jay Diedler at QB. New England is clearly the favorite in the conference.

In the NFC, I'm sticking with my 49ers pick to win the conference. San Francisco has played two sub-par games, but should improve over the course of the season. Too many weapons and too good a coach (Marriucci) to keep this team from going at least 10-6. Very closely behind, I would put Philadelphia. That performance in Washington last week was as strong a game from any team as I have ever seen. Andy Reid can flat out coach, no question. I still fear the Rams (worst coached team in the league -- except Dallas) will turn things around and go 10-6, but that defense looks very soft and opponents may now have figured out the way to stop the Rams is to blitz Warner.

Prediction: San Francisco versus New England (Line Patriots -3)

Darkhorse Prediction: Pittsburgh versus New Orleans

Wait....maybe I misunderstood what the "S" in "S.Bowl" above stood for. In that case...

New England - Philly. Philly favored by 4, Pats win outright.
