In 1988 I was on spring break in Daytona, Fla . back when that was the place to go for college students-i was a junior in college and in three days on the beach there-I saw a fighter jet crash-a shark attack and a student fall from his 6th story hotel room-dead...I saw the crash, saw the kid pulled out of the water with a chunk out of his leg missing and I was 10 seconds away from seeing the kid fall myself-I just saw the aftermath.......not your typical "day at the beach".......
