I was looking at the Heisman Trophy odds and found something interesting. For starters, it is pretty clear that Leinart, White, Peterson, and Bush are the 4 frontrunners for the Heisman. Mainly Leinart, White, and Peterson. Agree? Benson and Edwards etc have SLIM chances, very slim chance.
Here is an opportunity to make some big cash and thought I share it with everyone. I have not placed the $1000 wager yet but thinking very hard about doing it and prob. going to do it. I am already in $100 on each.
Pinnacle has prop bet where you can bet
Will a player from USC win the 2004 Heisman Trophy
Yes +105
No -115
Betwwts has Heisman Trophy odds for
Leinart -120
White +700
Field +300 (includes Peterson, Bush and QB Smith from Utah)
Lets say you put $2000 on YES USC player to win the Heisman and $1000 on White and a $1000 on the field.
If White wins it you net profit $4000
If Reggie Bush wins it you net profit $4000
If Leinart wins it you break even
If Peterson wins it you break even
If Utah QB Smith wins it you break even
If anybody else wins it you lose $4,000
If you wager $100 then you just take away a zero from each profit. VERY LOW PROBABILITY that none of these players I mentioned win the Heisman. So the question is, WHY NOT DO IT? I already did it for $100.
*If you shop around you prob. can increase your profits more. These are the 2 books I have most of my money in so that is why I have not shopped around.
