Just some picks from Breeders Cup at Arlington:

Sprint-Going to take a local horse from down here Bonapaw-Love the way he has won at 7-Furlongs and a mile this year. Recently won the Vosburgh Grade 1 at Belmont going 7-Furlongs. Worked a bullet Oct 14th going 5-Fur in 57" and change. Has the ability to uncork some 112-118 Beyers with consistency so the horse has the ability to win this race. Also going with the local jock from down here. This is not a homer pick i really like this horse hes looking good from all reports at Arlington and you can bet G. Melancon will ride his ass off in his 1st Breeders Cup. I just hope he doesnt get in a sped duel with Orientate but the plan is to sit right off the pace. If the pace is too hot then look for Swept Overboard and Kona Gold to catch them late. but im taking Bonapaw to win it-should be anywhere from 4-1 to 7-1 when odds go off. The horse to beat is Orientate and without question probably the best horse in this race. Look to see if speed is holding up in the early races as to wether you like this horse. He wont offer much value but i would include him in my Pick 6 as possibly a single..

Juvenile:

Going with a horse who has the right running style and who loves to sit right off the pace. Horse is Toccet. This horse loves a distance as evident by his last 2 races and also by his Maiden win going 7-Furlongs. His Beyers have improved each and every race and he won the Champagne at 9-1 sitting right off the pace and now he gets an extra 1/16 of distance. Only thing i dont like is the post position(14th hole). Should be 10/1 and i think he gets at least a top 3 finish and should be flying late..

Classic:

Personally i think this race is wide open-hell i could even make a point for Dollar Bill who will probably be 25-1 in the wagering. Im throwing out War Emblem as he will be over bet in his last race and i dont like speed horses going a 1 1/8. E Dubai ran a nice race in the Suburban GR-2 but hasnt raced since July due to a foot bruise. Horse has loads of potential but what happens when he hits the stretch and that foot starts to bother him. I see him as a pace factor only but he should be a big price..Mach Uno threw in a clunker his last race but i bet you see a good race out of him today. Ran 3 good races before his last one all against some good company so he has the ability but can he rebound from his last race. I think he will and you will get a good price on him too. Just dont like his slow works lately but they say he has been picking it up since his last race.. Medaglia D'Oro and Evening Attire are both good horses but the value will probably not be there. Love Evening Attire's come from off the pace style and if it should rain he loves the mud. Frankel has his horse winning this race by 8 lengths and he love shis horse and the way hes training but again i dont like speed horses going 1 1/8.

Harlans Holiday is an interesting horse as this is his 3rd race off the layoff and you know what they say about a horses 3rd race off a layoff. The 3rd race is a horses best race off the layoff. Got beat 3 lengths by Evening Attire and Lido Palace in 2nd start off layoff so i think hes a got a good shot at a nice price. Hawk Wing is interesting as he runs on dirt for the first time in his career. This horse love to come from way back so he he gets a good pace to run at and he takes to the dirt he may have something to say. Im going to take some longshots in this race as i like Macho Uno. Im throwing out his last if he runs like he did before that race he should be right there. I hope it wasnt the track that caused his 5th place finish in the Washington Park. Also like Harlans Holiday to get a pice of it also-very encouraged by his last race against stout company.

Macho Uno
Harlans Holiday
Eevning Attire

Have no clue on the Mile or the Turf as too many European horses entered. And do not like the Juvenile Filly or the Distaff.

So my picks today are:

Juvenile-Toccet
Sprint-Bonapaw
Classic-Macho Uno-Harlans Holiday-Evening Attire

Might be back later on with some head to headmatchups that im studying at Olympic..
