Somebody please explain this to me

Olympic has the following prop bet for tonight's game.

Quarterback to reach 100+ passing yards first.

Johnson -2.5 passing yds -120
McNabb +2.5 passing yds -110


Why is the +/- 2.5 in there? If you take Johnson and he gets to 101 but McNabb is sitting on 99, do you lose???
