I dont care if Hinrick was 1-10 or whatever. Zona is a better team than these guys, mich better & deeper. A Miles is worthless and Graves isnt much of anything. So you got langford, collison and hinrick. NO bench at all and if graves gets early fouls which HE ALWAYS DOES, i think Zona is just too quick, athletic and deep. Gardner, Walton, Stoudamire, Anderson, Frye, Adams, Iguadala (spelling? lol). I think Zona scores at will and kansas will get their pts but i like Zona big.... I need to see the line, if its near 3 pts, im taking Zona and big... Kansas is so over rated, if reddick could have hit anything tonight (1-13 from 3) many of them WIDE OPEN which HE NEVER MISSES, duke wins. Duke has no inside force at all and coudlnt stop anything, Zona has atleast something in the middle and will win this one...
even though reddick couldnt hit the ocean....other duke player hit lots of 3's.....

Kansas over Arizona!!! Yes Hinrich didn't do very good tonight but he will definitely show up against Zona.

One thing I will add...........Lets face it.........the Pac 10 sucked this year..........Stanford,Cal and Oregon were avg at best and I dont think anyone played defense all year. Youre a pretty weak conference when you cant even put a team in the NIT...........Also remember the game earlier in the year at KU. Ku was up by 13 at half then they shot 9 of 31(29%) in the 2nd half while getting outscored 10-0 to start the 2nd half. I dont think KU will shoot this bad again. I think it could be a great game saturday. I cant believe Zona really scares KU like they maybe do other teams. Remember last year Oklahoma ripped up a similar Arizona team. I think the key in stopping Arizona is to not let Gardner and Stoudamire gets looks at 3's........I am sure Williams will try to limit their shots. Arizonas inside players can be guarded IMO...........
J.J. Redick looked like Jerod Haas out there throwing up bricks in NCAA tournament game....or white Billy Thomas....thought maybe one of them gave them advice on how to play big game....
also thought ball looked slippery out there....maybe a new ball....guys were not handling it at all and it affects some shooters....i know myself when i played i could not grip a new ball and never could have feel....others were not really affected....other ball with a little wear feels much better...
i was on over tonight and think the ball might have ahd something to do with the sloppiness of the game and the way reddick and hinrich shot....cuz many of their shots just looked totally out of character from both of them....also saw other guys throw up wide open shots once in a while that looked really flat

Hinrich sprained his wrist in 1st half of game last night although he didn't use that as an excuse for his poor game .... KC paper says they don't know if they will X-ray it or not .... so he will definitely be less than 100% on Saturday for the big AZ/KU rematch. Knew there had to be a reason he wasn't handling the ball much in the 2nd half (that & his foul troubles). Said he was having trouble gripping the ball and that had to affect his shooting .... but with all that being said ..... Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!!!
I haven't been impressed with Duke at all this entire season anyways so Kansas just beating Duke doesn't give me any added thoughts that the Jayhawks can beat Arizona. Kansas is already lacking the depth it will take to play Arizona 40 minutes as Arizona likes to run the floor just as much as Kansas. This was evident in the first matchup. If Hinrich is anything less than 100% for this game, I think Kansas is in serious trouble.
Kansas will have to shoot just as well as they did the first half in the first matchup to get out early on Arizona and hope they have enough gas for the second half. But that game was on their own home floor. Should be a fun game nonetheless.
