I felt like some line movement might happen on this play earlier this morning. That's why I quickly posted in this morning when it was at Sonics +7'(line is at 6' currently).

Now for some thoughts......

-I can only think that the linesmen were being sensitive to the Spur's recent 4 game winning streak and the Sonic's 3 game losing streak.

-But......who were the victims of the Spurs 4 wins...."quality" outfits like a Shaqless LAL team, two big W's against the Cavs and another verses the hapless Griz (who are on the improvement BTW).

-Meanwhile...the Sonic's 3 straight losses have come against the likes of Orlando (with Grant Hill on the floor), Portland and last night in that "unforgettable" Mavs game.

-I said this morning......the Sonics expended high energy in that intense Mavs game last night. However, it seems to me that the linesmen have over compensated when they set a line of Spurs -7'.

This is a back-to-back for Seattle against a Spurs team coming off 2 days rest.......but 7' points?

No...I don't think so. GL

YTD...13-4
LN.....1-0

Wiz/Griz....U 187...W

Wiz/Griz....O 82 2H...bad line cancelled (no play)

Thanks for the replies Trampled & Spock.........

Thanks for the replies Trampled & Spock.........

I was hoping I hadn't confused folks by posting yesterday's "pick" in the "Wiz @ Griz" thread......then giving the writeup in a new "Sonic n' Spur" thread.

That's what I get for being in a hurry early Sunday morning. Since you we're able to figure it out....I hope others did as well.

I shoulda been clearer saying Sonics +7' rather than "No.....I don't think so!"......assuming everyone had read the morning post.

I apologize for the confusion but this situation does bring a few questions up I've been meaning to ask for a long time.......

-Are writeups useful to you?

-What length of writeup is the "most" you are willing to take the time to read here at MJ's?

-If more than two full screen lengths appear when you open a thread.......do you exit out before finishing the read?

_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-

The reason I'm asking is I've gotten basically no interaction after posting writeups. I really enjoyed the give and take last year with guys like Antonio, Dnugs, gsp, Dragon, Spock, Ninja and a others that don't come to mind just now.

Dnugs and I talked each other into and out of plays numerous times last year.....to our mutual benefit.

I seem to be talking to myself this year.....and this forum isn't a forum without conversation. Agree or disagree with another member.......any outside takes/viewpoints should not only be APPRECIATED BUT WELCOMED!!

I think were need more interaction in here......I have found MYSELF hesitant to "chime" into another member's thread when I agree or disagree think'n they might be offended.

LET ME SAY THIS.......ANYONE, ANYTIME AND ANYWAY......FEEL FREE TO POST A TAKE IN MY THREADS!!! :)

Let me know what ya think about my concern.
Yes.......grabb'n up winning picks from the outstanding MJ cappers is great (we all want them). BUT assisting others with your "take" can be as satisfying as the $ on the winning play!!

OK.....for tonight.....

I'm look'n at the early game in tonight's limited card.........the Hornets and 6'ers are two VERY close teams statistically speaking whose losses this season have all come on the road. Got somemore think'n to do on this one.

Later.......ez

Maybe not too much interaction on Sundays because of NFL games, family, etc.
I don't post much on baskets because I don't really "cap" those games. Not so much like cappin bases or foots. I just throw together a bunch of stats & thoughts and wait for the game to be decided by a fortunate (or unfortunate) bucket or bounce or two !
Appreciate your work.
Sometimes I think games are over analyzed. Line after line, paragraph after paragraph past figures & trends...........then watch the game be decided by the same above lucky bucket or bounce., with none of the trends coming into play.I know all sports are like that (sometime I will get into how many baseball games are decided on one pitch)................GL THE HITMAN
