You take some crap for your confidence, but you're one of maybe 5 people on here that I'm pretty sure is a consistent winner. You have brass balls for that EVU puck. Well done.

It looks to me like Alabama may in the drivers seat as far as this years National Champion.

its too much karma involved

Coach Saban certainly has this year's team focused and on target. It helps that there is good senior leadership that was around in 2009 and was able to see what happened in 2010.

Injuries haven't hurt 'Bama too much. It was a great time for a bye week. Gives the guys some time to rest and heal.

Michigan was overrated coming into the season but still had some talent. Just bad luck that Wilson was held out of the Arky game. Looks like we are going to miss Mizzou's QB next week as well.

Will be interesting to see if UcheaT can beat Mississippi State this weekend. If they lose that one I think Dooley is done and his players check out and Bama routs them in Knoxville. I give them a puncher's chance if they leave Starkvegas with a win.

Mississippi State could be interesting. They are just flying under the radar and Dan Mullen is a great coach. Will have his boys ready. Could be a trap for Bama. Coming off a rivalry game and two straight weeks on the road with LSU the next week.

Unless LSU finds an offense to go with their D we should leave Baton Rouge with a win. Texas A&M could be interesting but with that game in Bryant-Denny it shouldn't be a problem.

As long as they show up and do their job nobody should get within 2 TDs of them. Ole Miss was a wake-up call and they've had 2 weeks to chew on that.

Certainly agree that things are looking "crimson". Hope 'Bama gets South Carolina in the SEC Champ. That will be a helluva game.

ROLLTIDE, lsu will not a find an offense. the offene was gonna be weak anyway, but now are down 3 on the ol, and at most 1 will be back vs cocks. Clowney is the best player in college football and will eat us up next week. Saban will do the same in 3 weeks.

Cocks vs Bama in atlanta. If the winner is unblemished, they will play oregon. Hard to imagine oregon losing until their bowl.

Gotta be a great time for bama nation:toast:

Not gonna lie Jack, it's a great time to be a Bama fan, but I also know that everything is cyclical but as long as Saban is in Tuscaloosa they will be a Top 5 team. I'm gonna enjoy it for as long as the ride lasts.

By the way, I saw in another thread that South Carolina was +3 at LSU. How in the world can that be possible?

I have been tweeting with Danny Sheridan and he says if Alabama was playing at LSU this Saturday the Tide would be -1.

1. Aaron Murray didn?t exactly grab his star-making moment by the throat. Delivering a tipped interception on Georgia?s third snap was the worst possible start for the quarterback who still hasn?t presided over a victory against a team of substance. (Florida 2011 doesn?t count.) Murray had maybe his worst night as a Bulldog, completing 11 of 31 passes for 109 yards. In his defense, his line couldn?t block South Carolina?s defensive front. As offensive coordinator Mike Bobo said: ?When a guy?s getting hit, he has a tendency not to trust his protection.?

2. The ?Gurshall? groundswell got, er, grounded. Freshmen tailbacks Todd Gurley and Keith Marshall combined for 76 yards on 15 carries ? this after each had 100-yard games against Tennessee. Again, the Gamecocks? defensive line overpowered Georgia up front, often pushing blockers backwards into the guys for whom they were supposed to be blocking. ?We couldn?t handle their ends,? Bobo said, and then this: ?I thought we would be able to run the ball a little bit better.?

3. The Georgia defense didn?t trip the light fantastic, either. South Carolina gained 392 yards while throwing only 10 passes. (Six were completed, for a staggering 162 yards.) That?s what happens, said Bulldogs defensive coordinator Todd Grantham, when the running game works and you can throw off play-action at your leisure. The Gamecocks rushed for 230 yards ? 109 by Marcus Lattimore, who had his third consecutive big game against Georgia, and 78 more by Shaw. ?For us to get where we want to go, we?ve got to improve,? said Grantham, telling no lies.

pretty much sums that up
