So, I was the lucky one to be selected to lead a project for our IT Solutions company, to do work in the south side of Chicago for the next 6 weeks. I will be in the Chicago Heights/Matteson area. We are working at the Alverno/St. James Hospital area.

So I know there are some MadJacker's up in that region. The crappy thing is our company is forcing us to get a rental (a cheap one at that) and 1 car for 3 people, so not sure how much I will be able to travel around.

I do know once the cubs are in the playoff's I will probably make it up there for a game.

Any other suggestions in that area.

I would suggest making sure you are in your rental by dark.....I worked for 7 years in chicago heights....right down the road from St. James....not the nicest or safest of places and definitely not a place to go out for a night on the town.....take the 25 minute ride into chicago for your social endeavors. Man, how about the cards...sure wish they could've made that FG yesterday.....glad ND doesn't play BSU......good luck with the job.

Thanks for the advice. The plan is for no overtime so I should be in the car by dark. Will be parking at the hospital parking garage so hopefully that is not too bad. I was on the phone the whole way before Chicago Heights to my hotel in Matteson so didn't really pay much attention to the area but yeah looked a little rough.

I might make the road trip over to one of the casino's near by either back home in Indiana or hit Joilet. Just depends on how things go at work.

Yeah the cards really suprised me, they play 1 big game a year really well and the rest of the year not so well. Michigan was the big game last year we played well in.
