Brought the team out to Irvine for Nationals, and we have an off day on Wednesday -- what's something that is a must see while out in the area? Got 16 year olds with me so it's gotta be something they'd want to see. Heard the drive up to Hollywood isn't that far but I really haven't looked into it.

Kinda off topic, but for the locals, where do people live in Irvine? Everywhere I go is either a mall or a corporate park. Saw a few homes near the competition but not many.

I always tell my buddies who come see me in so cal to go to hunington beach. I think it is my picture of Southern California, with a beautiful beach with a pier, beach shops all along the street, California girls walking around.

I would say that or Knotts Berry Farm is right there near irvine, thats a theme park thats more adult than Disneyland.

If you are going to Hollywood, you can stop by Universal Studios which is right by there, but I personally dont find that much to do besides that in Hollywood, alot fo clubs and pricey restaurants.

For you, there is the Bicycle in Bell and the commerce right there as well. Both are historic card rooms out here.

Irvine Spectrum is nice place to eat and explore.

Most of the houses are on the more south side of the town of Irvine.

I love Irvine, clean streets, its a private city, and there are many rich whales living there!

Checked out the Irvine Spectrum tonight, very cool place. Much better atmosphere than the malls in NJ, and I won't even get started on the girls I saw.
