Sports Center is unwatchable

Every guy acts and sounds like he's some frat boy at a kegger. Can't we just get the highlights of the games, and you can keep your "cute" isms, and sayings, and shitty banter? The brand is well beyond its 15 minutes.

Haven't watched sportscenter in 15 years...or more. I recently tuned in after a primetime football or baseball playoff game and noticed it's a completely new format. New music, new set, very laid back. Scott Van Pelt was talking gambling. Hell, there was a full segment discussing recent bad beats. My mind was blown

The only thing worse, is the NFL Network. You have #21 and #88 running their yaps non-stop over each other, and whatever host is actually trying to tell us something.

I have to say I like the dude that does nfl redzone(Hansen,i believe)...he takes you back and forth between games,off the cuff, and doesn`t usually try to embellish or focus on himself....he` runs that show like a pro,imo.....it`s a fricking joy to watch and I seldom watch a complete game anymore unless it`s the ravens or a night game....

maybe it`s the shows frantic pace that drives the "to the point" subject matter and narrative(I haven`t seen this guy Hansen do anything else,so maybe it`s more the show`s format and not him...but he`s good on redzone..)...

as far as these other shows go,i totally agree with z....unwatchable....and that goes triple for sports talk on radio...all these guys sound like used car salesmen...

Haven't watched sportscenter since Dan Patrick was host. I am also about ready to quit watching football as it seems a team is getting beat 30 and the other team either tackles a guy before they make it 37 and he celebrates me me me,,,Or a guy runs for a first down getting beat 30 and its look at me me me,,,:facepalm:,The sad state of individualism has ruined it for me.:shrug:
