Sportsbooks that upgraded Barrichello as a winner

To continue our discussion on the other thread, i've decided to create a new one regarding the situation.

As we all know, it is the big discussion in sportsbooks about what happened and what should we do and so on with Michael win. Already, some sportsbooks are changing their mind and upgrade Barrichello as a win so they are taking the hit from it because they don't void Michael bet. Props to these books and i'm not afraid to name them. Paddy Power and Intertops are the first names that comes to our ear but i'm sure there are plenty others and would like to know wich ones. They deserve a big  from us in this world where sportsbooks most of the time take decision regarding their wallet and not considering us unless as money maker.

Mad Jack forum has been intended to share information so i would like to get the other names if you know they are paying it as a winner. I might have a call from 1 or 2 sportsbooks today and maybe we could add their names to the list of :thumb: very fair sportsbooks. However, i won't post names of sportsbooks that stand on their position (and wallet). I know who they are but i'll keep it for myself.

Thanks for the help guys!:)

"The official result is that M. Schumacher is the winner. Altho we can
understand your frustration on this matter, we have to go with the official
results, and hence it is Schumacher that is considered the winner."

I'll take the other side here. I didn't have Barichello or Schumacher so I'll provide an unbiased view.

About 3 years ago in the Australian GP David Coulthard and Mika Hakkinen made a deal whereby the driver to the first corner would get the win. Hakkinen won the race to the corner and on the last turn Coulthard moved over to let Hakkinen win.

On at least 2 other occasions Barichello/Irvine moved over to let Schumacher win and if I'm not mistaken when Schu was injured Mika Salo moved over to let Irvine win.

In NONE of those cases was there this anger towards the result and a call to books to honor both drivers as winners.

Furthermore on many occasions I've had bad beats whereby I probably should have won a bet but lost due to something controversial. Don't you believe the books who have honored Barichello as a winner are now going to be inundated with complaints on every bad beat stating that "because you have honored Barichello a winner, then you are obligated to offer xxx as a winner also"?

Again whether Barichello is a winner or not is not relevant to me but I don't see how you can fault a book that doesn't want to establish a policy that can come back to bite them in the ass later on.

BTW, I just heard from someone else that WSEX did not grade Barichello as a winner.

Dear Myron,

I knew you were going to put your 2 cents...

First about WSEX, your contact is a liar because al accounts have been upgraded. On their system, it can't be written as a win so the lost still show but the upgraded has been made.

You seems surprise to see the public reaction of what happened when everyone wants to crucify (even in italy) Schumacher and Todt. For how long have you been following F1? 2-3 years?

It 's not unusual (but rare) to see a deal between drivers BUT NOT AFTER JUST THE 6TH RACE OF THE SEASON for God's sake! That's why people are upset!!!! If it would have happened at the end on the year on a close championship race we would have been a little bit upset but not surprised because it has happenend before. You won't EVER find such a deal in F1 history as early on a season. What Ferraris have done was absoluletly awful and they are laughing at the FIA by saying they will do it again in Monaco. FIA can't do anything because Ferraris rules F1. it's bad but it's reality but when Ferraris laugh at hundred of millions of people by doing it like a WWF event, when they are laughing at sponsors who put billions in this sports you are taking the wrong directions...:nono:

There are sportsbooks that shows some understanding for their CUSTOMERS on that present incident and you are finding a way to criticize them? Are you serious? :nono: You're unbelievable Myron!!!!:nooo: You should be happy to see that some sportsbooks are not only sticking to their rule book when EXCEPTIONAL event happens and can show some "humanism" in an industry where big bucks rules!!!! Please, don't mix apples with oranges....

Never a cheer up from you Myron hum? Always there to criticize
contributors but never there when things go on our way...

I'm still  by your behavior on this site for the last few months and i don't think i'm the only one...

1837... i dont come in here(motor race) that often.

To be honest i dont have the knowledge to stick in here.

I come here cose i know you are a bunch of people who know what they are talking about and i try to find some key info that can help me....kind of selfish but..........on another hand you are passionate and bright people and................. thats gets me.

I just want to tx you for all your hard work 1837 in this neglected field of madjack and also the reason for this post is that i think we should know about the books that listen when madjackers talk.

For this reason i think that this trend is very interesting and maybe it should be posted in the general trend.

salut
nice work

When do I criticize other contributors? This is the first time I've ever taken a contrary position on this site. Personally I think Ferrari's decision was dreadful and they should be ashamed of themselves but I also don't see how you can fault books who want to just honor the official results.

DJV, haven't received anything yet...

Thanks anyway! ;) Frogy:merci man! :)

Nostromo, happy to add Centrebet to the list! ;)

Myron, i must then be the only one who misunderstand your statements 'cause i've read several of them tainted with sarcasm for the last few weeks. Just read back your comments at the previous F1 races this season and you should find them. Maybe it's just me who misunderstood...
