Astros(Houston)
Pettitte +102

Like the Astros here. Just think their pitching is better than the Braves. The Braves can put runs on the board, but with Clemens, Pettite, and Oswalt. I'm a firm believer that good pitching will beat good hitting everytime.

RedSox(Boston)
Wells -102

After being taken behind the woodshed in game 1, I look for the Bo-Sox to bounce back in game 2. To be honest, Wells was the only pitcher I thought could win a game in this series going in. Oh well at least the Sox won it last year :mj14:

Yankees(NewYork)
Wang +110

I really thought Colon pitched a good game yesterday and expected him to win. :cursin: Anderson :cursin: You have to catch balls hit in the air, especially with the bases loaded dimwit!! This will go 5 and if it does, I like Bartolo!!

This is my first post on this site. Yhank you all for having me and I look forward to making some new friends and taking the bookie behind the woodshed with no lubrication :142hump: :toast:
Good luck everyone :thumb:

Pettite :box2: was in rare form as this one got ugly late. Are the Braves the most "over-rated" successful team of the modern ages. All those damn division titles that they boast so badly about and 1 championship :mj11: to show for it :mj07: At home and you can't even get a full house on a beautiful night for baseball. Aside from the 2 home-runs, Pettite wasn't even hit hard. Personally I wouldn't even risk pitching Smoltz tomorrow against Clemens :banghead: What about Reitsma pouring gas on a brush-fire. Nice call Bobby :mj07:

RedSox(Boston)
Wells -102

I have come to the conclusion that the Red Sox will lose in the division series without their perceived "ACE" not even appearing in a game  I honestly wonder just how much they realize the fact that Pedro was the "ACE" of the staff :cursin:
I am not faring well here so far but don't give up on me yet. This was the 1 game in the series that I knew the Bo-Sox would win. You got Wells cruising along, and he has been by far the most consistent pitcher on the staff. You're leading 4-0 going to the bottom of the 5th, My first thought is, complete game, save the bullpen, we may make a series out of this. Surely with Manny and Big Poppy we can outscore the Pale-Hose in a series. All of a sudden.........
Everett singles
Rowand doubles to left, Everett scores
Pierzynski grounds to 2nd moving Rowand to 3rd
Crede singles scoring Rowand. I'm like ok catch ya breath here, 2 runs in, but still up 2, and a double play will close the inning :look: Then it happened ...........
Uribe safe at 1st as Graffanino had a Bill Buckner moment :cursin: moving Crede to 3rd who was basically slowing down conceding defeat on the play. Now you get Podsednik on a popout to 3rd (2 outs in the inning now)
Up comes Iiguchi ( who sent my Indians home for the winter ) After rocking him with a breaking pitch for strike 1 when he was clearly expecting a fastball and had him guessing "wrong" you throw the exact same pitch only to have it deposited in the left field stands :cursin: Then you decide to strikeout Dye to end the inning and when you finally get to the dugout being down 1 as opposed to at least up 2. Game, set, match

Yankees(NewYork)
Wang +110

This one clearly hurts worse than the previous.
I honestly thought if the Yankees managed to beat Colon, which I didn't think they would  The sweep was likely. What other pitcher do they have could possibly put fear in the Bronx Bombers. Wang clearly deserved a better fate. 6.2 innings pitched scattering 6 hits and walking 0 and you have 3 errors which account for 4 runs :cursin: Just a word of advice........ When you commit as many errors as runs scored, you are likely to lose :cursin:
A very disappointing 0-2 on the late card :mj16:
