The Sonics are averaging only 89.3 points per game in their last 13 games, with the Under going 9-4 over those contests. They have topped the 100-point mark in just 2 of those 13 games, while failing to reach even 90 points in 8 of them. At the same time, their defense has played well, last night?s effort notwithstanding, allowing 89.4 points per game in those same last 13 games. The Spurs are currently #3 in the NBA in defense, allowing 88.6 points per contest, and they should have no problem containing this slumping Seattle unit. Also, the Spurs? last 4 trips to Seattle have all played Under, with an average combined score of just 170.3 points per game, nearly 10 points lower than tonight?s posted total!
