from S.A. Express--
"For the first time in six years, the Spurs will take the court without both David Robinson and Duncan.
Duncan flew home to the Virgin Islands on Tuesday following the death of his father while Robinson remained in San Antonio to receive additional treatment for his ailing back. Danny Ferry, who could usually be counted on to help fill in for the 7-footers, also is not expected to play because of a sprained right wrist( he actually had a piece of bone flake off when he crashed to the court in Game 3.) 'He has one small bone that's broken to some degree,' Popovich said. 'But you can't do anything about it. It's a matter of swelling and mobility, and right now he doesn't have (mobility).
Malik Rose and either Cherokee Parks or Mark Bryant likely will start in place of Duncan and Robinson. With Ferry also likely out ?he still had limited mobility in his right hand Tuesday ? the Spurs may often go to a smaller lineup with four perimeter players. Because Rashard Lewis is out for the series, the Sonics' lineup also is in flux.
"We're going to do everything in our power to perform well and do what we need to do," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "Win or lose, we move on."
Without Duncan the Spurs are 1-3 in the playoffs. San Antonio is 1-4 in playoff games without Robinson."

cooz- not totally sure about that, duncan missed a first round series against phoenix in 2000 i believe--if seattle is smart, they will slash and work the ball inside for closer shots--trying to decide if i'd rather play the over or seattle--thanks for the response!
