Had my computer go nuts on me last night. Couldn't get to home page, and at times would have all these other pages coming at me, one after the other. Kept ending up with a long list of numbers in my address bar, and also a passitalong.com thing at other times. Long story short, called my internet people who led me through a series of things to do to get me back on track. took awhile but we got it fixed. Was told my the internet guy to get either Spyware, and I think he said Adware also as another choice. Ended up purchasing Spyware for $29.95 last night. Question is ? When I scan the computer it shows 22720 files with 4067 infected and also 1287 folders with 58 infected. not being a computer guy other than posting messages...lol, how the hell do I get rid of those infected little things. I thought by purchasing Spyware and after downloading the program, it would delete all those infected automatically. I've went through the on screen instructions and don't understand any of it. I've emailed them with the question and haven't got an answer yet probably due to it being the weekend. From a computer dummy with no patience for things like this, if anyone with computer knowledge can help out, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks a ton.

It should give you an option to delete or fix those files.
Downloaded the free version of Spybot (try google) It also
immunizes a system against previously found
spyware programs. Good Luck!!!

KMA....

KMA....

went to Goggle and the one that I purchased is up in the right hand corner. Spy-Ware-Nuker. I was told by my internet guy about the free downloads, but he advised to purchase as there's more to it. The one I purchased has a thing for deleting but I can't figure out how to do it. As I said in previous post, I figured it would automatically delete the infected files. Thanks

just checked what I wrote down last night of the things that he told me about, and he did mention spybot and adware, but as I said in above post, he suggested to purchasing Spyware, which I did. Thanks
