I say square money because 80%I of the betting public is on the Texans tonight. The public had a huge week crushing the books with most faves winning and covering but it all comes crashing down tonight. This game reminds me so much of last years ravens @gb jags on mnf. I believe the spread is right on the money too opening at bout 7.5 or 810 and being bet up to 9-9.5 by kickoff. And what happened in that game? Jags win outright 12-9. We will see the same thing happen tonight. I don't think you even need the points. Jets win this one SU. However grabbing the 8money or 9I is probably the smarter play because I can see houston winning on a last minute field goal. If this game was being played at 1pmyou on a Sunday afternoon it would be a no brained to go with the Texans but there's something different about mnf. I can't even tell how the jets will pull this off but all I hear from recant backers is how they lost their best we and their best cb. So what? All these players are pros folks and every team on any given night has a chance to win. ie.ari at ne.....

If don Wallace was still around I bet he would be all over the jets and he would of course be right......

Good luck on whatever you play!

Thier backup WR's have little experience and cannot get open. Shonn Greene will go nowhere behind this offensive line. Sometimes the public wins. 9 out of 10 players on this board are on Jets and sometimes the fade the public thing just doesnt work.

Hardly square,. I show 59% on HOU and 41% on NYJ. Yet line continues to climb. Usually a good sign for the fave. If the majority were on HOU and line dropped, then i could see an argument for Jets but not this time.

I hear you ...sometimes the public does win but they have already won a bunch this week and they wont win tonight. People on this board are in no way shape or form considered to be public aside from maybe a couple whom I haven't seen post anything on this game. O don't care if the jets brought back KJ for this one night. Its not going to matter. They will cover that number....

I think anyone who touches this game is brain dead or an action junkie FWIW.

I have no idea where your getting those numbers from. I can't find one site that has anything less then 77%I on houston

Hey P, I remember the game you're talking about. That game played after the late Sunday session saw alot of favs come in too so I cant really see this being one of those feel good public games. Think the public got the hook up last night with the fav and the over. There used to be somebody on here that would track the old Sunday night/ Monday night reverse system. Can't remember who it was but they tracked the system closely and it seemed to work pretty well. Last night we saw fav and over so tonight the play would be dog and under. FYI, I just looked at a casino that I track and the numbers are 83.4% on Houst and 16.6% on New York. Sample size was 17,660 bets. GL tonight!

Exactly Redskin!!! I love the fact that everyone was on the over and saints and they BOTH came through. That sets this game up perfectly!!! I remember that old system play as well with SNF/MNF but I can't say I really lived by it.

The public had a huge week crushing the books with most faves winning and covering but it all comes crashing down tonight.

You must have a very short memory. It is true that starting with the late afternoon games the faves are 5-1 but prior to that the week had been DOMINATED by the dogs.

Starting Thursday night, all these dogs covered or won outright:

Rams (won outright)
Dolphins (won outright)
Colts (won outright)
Chiefs (covered)
Eagles (covered)
Seahawks (won outright)

vs. these faves that won and covered:
Giants
Falcons
Bears
Vikings
Patriots
49ers
Saints

That's 7-6 so far this week tilted towards the faves. Just very bizarre the way it happened (5-2 dogs in the first 7 games and then 5-1 to the faves in the last 6).

Not disagreeing with your play but if it's purely based on the notion that the public has had a huge week that's just not true. Take it from me, I bet all faves yesterday and got crushed.

Good job P! That Sun/Mon reverse system also came in. I'm going to do a little research to see how that's playing out so far this year. GL this week!
