1)...49ers+9/under 43.5.....a teaser....don`t play many......the raven game last week was an anomaly.....for the ravens.....for anthony wright....for their secondary......no way to explain it.....lightning struck....if you saw the game you saw numerous official`s blunders, receivers coming back to catch underthrown passes,ridiculous pass interference penalties....
i doubt that this happens again....san fran`s last 2 road games were 20-10 at green bay and 16-13 at arizona.....
san fran`s "d " is pretty solid....the raven secondary is very anxious to make amends for last week..they are anxious to go against the high profile"t.o." ..much of the damage came on the back of corey fuller...he may not start....
the ravens very seldom win comfortably.....this should be a close,hard fought ballgame...a little leary about garcia coming back to prove a point....but,i don`t see the raven defense getting lit up 2 weeks in a row at home....
wright`s not that good...neither are the raven receivers...jamal lewis is showing the strain of carrying the offense...
and i love playing unders with teams that "overscore" the previous week....

2)jags+4(-125)....jags playing well at home....the defense usually plays well....the running game is solid with fred taylor,ma`afala and toefield tearing away at the weak run interior of the tampa defensive line....and the tampa defensive secondary is hurting.....
this is the team that beat the colts and had 4 shots into the endzone to tie tennessee...
leftwich scares me the way he puts it on the carpet....and del rio is a moron....with the stuff about starting garrard...the wood chopping stunt(ownership told del rio to tone it down,so,now they have players s shooting apples off the staff`s heads with bow and arrows....that`s an improvement...lol)....and generically stupid decisions and comments that undermine his fragile rookie qb....
but,the bucs are shaky....worth a shot with 4,vs in state rival on sunday night.....has to be a rare big game for the jags.....
3)......got to go with the bengals+3......i know it`s a public play.....i know it`s the 2nd straight road game...i know the steelers beat the brownies last week(multiple brown t.o.`s and they stink as home faves anyway).....i think that right now,the bengals are just a better team....and three rivers is hardly a big home field advantage anymore......
i`ll take my chances with the bengals and their 2 pronged running attack...their excellent wide receivers(i believe houzmazadah? comes back this week....along with tight end kelly)....kitna looks like a reborn qb....like he did when he first came up with seattle...
bengals 7-1 ats last 8 overall....
4-1 ats last 5 on the road.....
pittsburgh is 31st in the league in rushing offense....around 83 yards per game...
if the bengals lose here to what i consider an inferior steeler team,then they have to go on the road again vs the co-division leading ravens....third straight on the road.... that might be a good time to step in against the bengals....maybe i`m crazy,but,i actually think the bengals are pretty good....and the steelers aren`t....many find it hard to break out of the old stereotypes.......not here...
i might even incorporate this game into my 2 sided teaser above.....or,

5)...over 41(-120 small).....over is 4-1 ats for pitt at home this year....
...over 7-1 ats in last 8 steeler games with total between 38.5 and 42......the weather isn`t a factor(44 degrees and 10-13 mph winds)....
5.b)...2 small "whim" plays....san diego+7.5(-120) and cleveland+6....
