i am embarrassed to be a Cowboy fan....especially here in Houston.....but.....

Campo is a flat out moron....he has no idea how to game plan nor evaluate talent...

Q is AWEFUL!!! and how many times is Joe Theisman going to pass the blame on this guy!!!! He is TOILET and the best QB on the team, Anthony Wright, is CUT!!!???? Clint Stoerner is a joke and Chad Hutchinson is very raw. I like this guy but he needs to be in the game a couple years before he is ready for action. Q cannot make a read, throw a good ball, or make any kind of a decision....he must be a real genius....reminds me of the Baylor basketball team a couple years ago when i went there.....they had a bunch of guys who could jump out of the gym and run with anyone, but they would pull up from 15 feet and throw a rocket that was still going up when it hit off the backboard.....great athleticism and athletic but NOT a player and has NO concept of the game.....EVERY single play with this guy is terrible and his balls were thrown so bad that even the defenders couldn't catch them

Emmitt is OLD and the backup RB's would have won this game if they played......the Dallas O-Line dominated and with any kind of speed or burst THROUGH the line they would have marched down the field, Emmit no longer has ANY acceleration or evasiveness which made him great thus he is subpar now....Hambrick is explosive and should be playing and Wiley once in a while with his speed

THe kicking game is the worst in the league.....that place kicker -- just looking at the guy makes me nervous and his kicks are bad too....meanwhile our punter punts 20 yard line drives.....once again, how do you get these guys on your team???? (special teams coach was busy coaching indoor league during tryouts)

Defense is solid as any in the league but with bad game plan by Mike Zimmer???? another incompetent fool who has perhaps the 2 best safety blitzers in the game aginst a rookie quarterback and how many times did we see Woodson or Williams blitzing (other than the run blitzes at the end when it was already over)

Anyway, these are my thoughts.....this tema is headed into the cellar this year.....will not win a game on the road.......unless Anthony Wright comes back or Hutchinson gets good real quick AND Campo is bagging groceries

I have to jump in on this reply too. I live here in houston also and this just made my next year almost unlivable!!! Maybe what the cowboys should have done was PRACTICE like the other teams instead of taking trips to Seaworld and the Riverwalk for christ sakes......This is simply pathetic, but im still a fan so ill watch the next 15 games along with a case of beer for each game to make it bearable at least.

Not to rub it in but for a Texan fan if they go 0-15 from here on out, I'm beside myself. And Jerry Jones may or may not look like Skeletor. Stapled Stomach or not he is one scary SOB. If he doesn't stop trying to run the football operations, they are going to be terrible for ever.

You know whats funny...............is I have been watching the HBO special following the Dallas cowboys through training camp and I could not help thinking that Dave Campo and Jerry Jones have to be two of the most bumbling idiots I have ever seen on a football field. This whole franchise is a disaster. All you have to do is look at Jerry Jones............this guy thinks hes a football coach and he has absolutely no clue. It should not be a surprise that Quincy Carter sucks............he was never worth a shit at Georgia at he is even worse as a pro. With all the available QB's the last 2 yrs, these guys nabbed Quincy............Bledsoe,Dilfer,Ferotte just to name a few, even doug flutie would have been a better choice.

It was a rough game to watch as a lifelong Cowboy fan. I also found the sideline interview at the beginning of the second half with Jerry Jones where he talked locker room comments and what WE were going to have to do. Does he still think he's the coach?? Is he in reality calling the plays??

How about David Carr?? Should have won the Heisman last year hands down. How about his wife too?

I watched every episode of "Hard Knocks" myself and couldn't believe players would have to go to Jerry Jones before they go to Dave Campos to get cut. Hell, Jones would even tell the players if they made the team. And then, to see Jones try to add input in Coaches' meetings was hilarious. I wished they would have shown the various coaches faces when Jones would offer up some of his profound advice.

That team will never go anywhere until he gets out of operations. Campo is simply a puppet and this loss will mark his doom.

You absolutely right!!! Jerry Jones is not a coach and should be up in his owners box.... He is the real reason why the Cowpukes are bad and will keep being bad or average at best. He is the one who hires these coaches like Campo. He hired Campo so he could play his little power trip and act like a Head Coach. Why do you think Jimmy Johnson left?

I have no problem with an owner being hands on. It is his team and his money, but he has to hire or at least let his football guys do their thing. He is a businessman and a good one at that. My God he is even saying who to draft. Yes his team so he should have some say in it but he can't evaluate talent like a Jimmy Johnson or any other football coach or scout.

I think he needs to spend a litlle more time in the owners box and hire some good "football people" and let them do their job, and get a coach who won't kiss ass and tell him to butt out.
