I was leaning steelers, then the more i thought about it, along with the trends, the Bengals seem like the play.....Steelers coming in with a full steam and the Bengals lost last 2, including a bad loss to Buffalo which meant something at the time.......Vegas sets the line to try and get 50/50 action, if they set the line with the standard home team laying 3, i'm pretty sure over 80% would be on the Steelers......and I would take the Bengals in that scenario, cuz its never that easy...............Yeah the Steelers won in Cincy...if I recall, replay overturned a 1st quarter Chad Johnson TD in which the Bengals had to settle for a FG attempt, Graham missed one and made one in the 1st quarter and trailed by one at half and never were able to recoup.
Steelers put 17 up in the 3rd quarter in which took Rudi Johnson out of the game, finishing with only 12 carries but still over 5 yds a rush.....Bengals gave the ball to Rudi in the 2nd game 21 times for almost 5 yards a carry, this time he found the endzone twice in the 2nd half as the Bengals never trailed from halfway thru the 2nd quarter..............
Biggest difference between the 2 games was the Steelers Offense. In their win they rushed 47 times, in their loss, they rushed 27 times.....why b/c the Bengals were able to finish off drives with TDs instead of FG attempts......Bengals will need to be able to do the same this week, finish drives off and force the Steelers into something that doesn't fit their forte and thats pass...........
My biggest concern is will the Bengals D fold up like a tent when the Steelers start pounding away?......Bengals need to strike first, to set the tempo......Big Ben throwing over 25 times, 1 possibly 2 will land in a Bengals uniform.......I'll take the offense and the home fans who haven't seen a playoff game in years, in their backyard.....
Bengals +3
Don't mind me babbling, I'm just bored at work
