Well leave it to the ole ball coach. In an article in The State (Columbia, SC daily) he is quoted as saying, ?He?s had an amazing year, no question about it. He?s certainly deserving. I feel a little sorry McFadden was runner-up two years in a row. Nobody remembers the runner-up much. They don?t have a runner-up Heisman Trophy.?
Sounds heartfelt, doesn't it? Until you see that Spurrier left McFadden off of his ballot completely. He voted Tebow first, Colt Brennan 2nd and Chase Daniel 3rd. :nono:
