i don't agree with you too much on political issues but this immigration issue is a perfect example of bush & the senate being influenced by big business....

not once last night did bush mention anything about penalties toward businesses hiring illegal immigrants....

i also haven't seen anything coming from any of the senate proposals about penalties towards companies hiring people entering this country illegally....

as far as i'm concerned bush & the senate ignored the wishes of the majority of the american people to satisify some special interest groups....

i find this disgusting !!

to be fair & balanced we'll talk one day of how the democrats are in bed with the labor unions...

I think it was purely a political move by Bush to try to get his poll numbers up without really doing anything. I am not a democrat it is just that for the most part it doesn't make sense to blame them for anything since the Republicans are in charge of everything. In truth the enemy we face from within is not the Repubs or the Dems. It is the Neocons who pose the biggest threat to our country and they are embedded deep into both parties now. Just my humble opinion.
