Team,

I just noticed this forum and I thought I would give my .02, any good trader (worth their salt) has a subscription to IBD and WSJ (BTW: in no way shape or form am I affilitated with either of those companies, just tools of the trade that have helped me). I won't provide links etc. with out Jack's consent, on average the market will yield 12% over time (that is the average since the market was established). There is still alot of money to be made, believe it or not it's the same as being a sports capper, just a different arena;) .

Any stocks your looking at right now Ryson??? I'm sneaking a peak at JDSU, just off earnings and a down sector, but a class company. I still see alittle more downside at this time, but not much. Any thoughts???

I picked up Accenture ACN in July (@ 14)of last year closed yesterday @ 25.20 and I have a feeling that it will contiune to go up. I will probably dump if it gets close to 40. So like I said there is still plenty of money to be made. If you or anyone else would like me to elaborate on my first post get my email from Jack and I will go into more detail. I will look into JDSU, but from their chart over the last year it looks like it may be a good buy. What do they do? I mostly trade in the tech. sector, I have some stock in all of the big oil companies also. I picked up ACS in Oct. @ 88 and @ the earlier this month they were @ 108, but they started to tank a bit but it did move 4 pts. yesterday to and closed @ 97.10, if they drop below 90 I would jump on board because I think I smell a split coming. :D

Will keep you posted.

BTW: Give me a call Monk and I will let you know what I am talking about, if you don't have my number kmac does.

JDS produces fiber optic components and modules. customers are Alcatel, Ciena, Cisco, Corning, Lucent, Marconi, Motorola, Nortel, Scientific Atlanta, Siemens Tyco, Corvis, ONI Systems, Juniper Networks Sycamore.

JDS was a very high flyer, they came out with earnings and said they could not tell if business has bottomed or the worse is still to come. Many of their customers are also experiencing weak demand and it may not be until 2004 until they see an improvement. stock was down on Friday $14.64 -.93 cdn. ($1US =$1.60cdn.) I am staying away until the company has some idea when things will begin to improve.

thanks
