didnt see the end of the game, anyone know why Benes was pulled ????

how does Sheffield get a pitch to hit 4 a homerun on an 0 - 2 count ???

another game tied w/2 outs late in the game, then either lose in bottom of 9 or extra innings. oh well. :shrug:

saw the game ..

benes had 122 pitch count .. man on second 2 out ..
so they pulled him out ..

the swing by sheffied was for a pitch which was low .. he almost hit it one handed ..

his numbers against Veres were pathetic .. 0.067 ..
1 hit in 15 at bats ..

and the HR was a leaf off bottom 9 run ..
