I took today off, needed a break. Was watching the NC/FLorida St. game. NC dominated, but I can't understand the behavior of Florida St in the final 3:30. Was it just me or did FSU dial it in? They ran the shot clock down almost each possession, never made an attempt to get back in the game? Curious. And the last possession is what really caught my eye. Seemed to be content to hold the ball the final 28 seconds, but at the last second.........had to get off the final shot? A couple of the players almost looked like they had lost the world that they couldn't get a couple of points.............very weird.:sadwave:

They were exhausted. At the end of the first half there were at least two players clutching their shorts before walking off the floor. The last 3:30 was the only time the shot clock hit 20 in either direction. Usually if a team gets up by 15 or so they start to slow it down with 8-10 minutes left. UNC just played faster. It was one of the fastest games I've seen.
I made the same comment...that it was funny that F State was slowing the ball down and not UNC. It was not a case of a fix...it was a case of exhaustion IMO.

Yeah.......your probably right, I just know if I had bet FSU I would be a bit perturbed. That last second shot still made no sense. Why not just sit on it:shrug:
