That now begs the question, does Pletcher run Rags to Riches, Circular Quay or both ? An 8 horse field will kill this event.
Why not run both if they are eligible? He does have a history of running several horses in stakes races.
With such a short field and one of the big hitters out of the race, you're right, he should run both. If he doesn't, just buy your Curlin ticket and go stand by the window.
Curlin will be odds on. I'm looking for something that will run with him and stay. Hoping to find something to hit the board to make a triple worth it. Small play for me in this race.

Dan, A lot of talk around here about the filly. Boy it's tough to back a filly against the boys going a mile and a half. Time squared is out and likely Digger to follow. Zito may enter C P West. All this has probably aready happened. I came home and haven't heard anymore locally.
If I lived in NY State, I know what I'd be saving my money for. Doesn't the Jerkins barn aim for Saratoga?
Dan, I'm not seeing this race as a betting race. Probably a pass for me right now. Looking for a sleeper but there are better prospects on the undercard. Any thoughts?
