have traditionally done very well with 4 and 5 unit plays. strongest play to date before this was cincinnati over oregon. playing this one for 4.5 units. gl

4.5 units.....ucsb (+5) over irvine.

gauchos should win outright.

The Gauchos will need to run and gun here as UC-Irvine has a definite size advantage with a 7 footer and 6'10 player on their frontline while UCSB has no starter taller than 6'8"

adding:

1* duke 1h total under 39
thought about butler 1h, but betting anti-duke 1h IN cameron can be suicide. i think duke u39 makes more sense. butler is NOT gonna come into cameron and try to run with them. bulldogs should control the tempo and pace of the game early on.

im kind of leaning towards irvine hear boys.

That home turf I think will make the difference. Could be in trouble also if they post up down low. Overall though, Irvine is just playing better ball these last 5 games. Could continue.

good luck

gAUCHOS have 2 most important games ofhte season coming in there next 3... tonight vs Irvine... next at their rival Long Beach before the toughest place to play in conferance at Utah St.

Gauchos need Mark Hull to be on his game to win this one... meanwhile UCI starts a stretch of 4 road games all that are winnable

I think Irvine wins this but I am staying away... good luck

ucsb already played in utah state. assuming the game youre referening is a home game vs the aggies, although i havent looked at the schedule. honestly, im just not seeing why people are sold on irvine. to me, usu and ucsb are the class of the conference

I would have to agree with Bgold as far as passing on this game. This is not one of the better UCSB teams and they have been just absolutely horrid on the road the past dozen games. Irvine tends to play close games and this could be too many points for them to handles covering.

Gman, its great to see you on this board. It is clearly the creme de la creme of handicapping outlets. Great call on UCSB tonight, I got on them thanks to you and the 78% on Irvine at *********. Judging by the fact that a whopping 15 people looked at my post, nobody cares!

Best of luck, tennis guy has not lost in a tourney this year, but may go down this week. Have you had a chance to check him out??
