I know I'm posting this pretty early in the week, but I wanted to go ahead and see if everyone feels as strong as I do on this one...
OKLAHOMA STATE -7 HUGE;)

Nix is out for southern miss and ok state's offense is very explosive. If anyone has watched both of these teams play at all this year, I do believe IMHO, that this a complete mismatch. Ok state will be all over this crappy conference team that's had coaching problems as well. Rashaun should get over 200 yards receiving and hopefully 4 or 5 tds. This is a huge opportunity to show the Big 12 that the cowboys can step it up and be a stronger competitor next fall.

I completely agree. Also, this is Okie State's first bowl game in about five years, and they are bringing about 30,000 fans down to Houston (Big 12 country).

Totally agree with you Punch. This is also probably my strongest bowl play of the season.

All year I have played and watched Conference USA games and this has got to be one of the worst conferences, if not the worst, in football. This conference is characterized by a bunch of underacheiving, unprepared, unpredictable and poorly coached teams. I saw enough Thursday night games by the gag inducing Louisville with their pathetic coach Lewis to last me a lifetime. The Minter "coached" Cincinnati team turned up more lame performances than I care to remember. Here's a coach with one of the best QB's in the country and all he wanted to do was prove he could run the ball. Truly sickening to watch. Southern Miss falls right in line with these two as a tragic trio not worth anyone's hard earned bread. Only prayer they ever had all year was when they played at home and this ain't a home game.

Only good thing is that I wasted enough time and dollars to have learned my lesson. I saw enough of these crap teams all year to know that North Texas was one of my top bowl games of the year. I also bet against the Thursday night Canard-inals against Marshall. How the hell this crap conference got so many bowl invites astounds me but I'll be betting against them.

All you really need to know about this game is to see how poorly Cincinnati and Louisville played and how another Big 12 team, Texas Tech performed in their game. This game has major blowout written all over it.

Add to that the fact that Oklahoma State is superbly coached, battle tested in one of the toughest conferences, an extremely team oriented group that is on a major roll and looking to cap a tremendous season and this is a close to a sure thing as you could hope for in a game.

s miss finished the season in a total funk and conference usa was horrid this year...okie st finished on a roll and lost to s miss in 2001 and 2000....this appears to be a mismatch in which i sense the favorite will be the more motivated club(for a change)....a mediocre program way up this year and a consistently good program way down........and am hooking them up with my rushing stat play(west va).....may be looking to fade conf usa with the exception of lousily qb`ed tcu with it`s strong ground game and tough rush "d" getting 5......g.l.

Like this one too fellas. I'll go with the Big 12 team who played a tough schedule and fared well against a C-USA team who only plays consistent when they're at home with a healthy Nix. Let's get em.

i will say this

i will say this

if okie st doesn`t establish a ground game vs a poor s miss rush defense, they will not win, much less cover...every team that won the rushing stat battle so far in bowls, won and covered the game...and it doesn` look like okie st can run the ball at all...t
