I have bet on the 4th and niners several times this year and they have been beyond disappointing. Had them last week against AZ and they flat out laid an egg. Every bone in my body wants to play the rams who are the far superior team in every single category! The public being all over the rams
And the fact that this line seems very low is fishy to me. The public doesn?t always lose or no one would ever gamble. I need to be talked off the fence here. The rams bough to 3 seems like an absolute lay up, what am I missing here, and how do I resist the urge to take the 4th and niners who are just plain bad? Thanks

This is generally about the time of the season when I start to doubt everything. Contrarian thinking, trap lines, overthinking, public money, yahdee yahdee yahdee.

I've been a bit cool lately so trying to back off on number of plays. Last night, really wanted to put a decent chunk on KC and talked myself out of it because it looked too good. We know how that ended.

I told myself after the Rams debacle last week to take them no matter what against the very average Niners this week. Checked a few posts here tonight and I see quite a few Rams plays, which I am certain will invite someone to offer up the old chestnut about "the entire world" is on the Rams--in addition to the line "begging for LA $$."
It will all seem so obvious in 3 or 4 hours and then roughly 50% of this board will seem like geniuses.

In short--quoting Sidney Freedman--sometimes you just have to pull down your pants and slide on the ice. I am sticking to my initial gut and taking the Rams, but also surrendering to my overwhelming insecurities and buying a half point, which I could justify with the old key number excuse but which in reality is just a little superstition that makes me feel a little better until the Niners score the first TD.

Thanks. I feel better now. :mj07:

I pounded KC last night thinking about all the bad JUJU the raiders have going on. You can?t lose 2 1st rounders and your head coach and think things aren?t going just a little sideways. I just cannot back the 4th and niners they are bad, rams are simply
Too good to lose 2 in a row.

as u said and niners they are bad, rams are simply
Too good to lose 2 in a row.

and NINERS are now 5-0 vs Rams

imagine the plus money making 49ers a 14 point fav or higher

the scurse of being host to sb is wearing on Rams i see posible 5 -6 losses final 7 games of year

even Final home game VS 49ers

that would be 3 losses in row legitmately @ ravens @ vikes then SF takes em out of Playoffs contention
