Yes, they do in fact exist, and based on how much you want to be studied, or submit your body to, you will get paid more......I looked into it here in Austin,Tx while in college, but after seeing all the release forms you have to sign basically signing over all your "rights to sue them in case anything goes wrong" I decided against it.........But my buddy did make some good $$$$ doing it...........One time he made $2k for enduring 20 panic attacks over a 48 period.........
go to any medical center where research is done....there will be flyers all over asking for volunteers......most get paid a pretty good amount for the time

I have participated in several product studies: vodkas (put on by a fly by night brand--don't remember name), colas, bourbons (put on by maker's Mark--my favorite) are the ones that come to mind. I received something in the mail that sounded like a screening for the new fall line-up. I couldn't go because my fiancee and I had to meet with the priest in Nashville. I really wanted to see what that was about, though.
Our house is now on a call list, so we get calls pretty frequently. For these types of tests, you probably need to live in a large city that is known as trendy. you can only participate every 45 days or so. my roommates brother and his friend used to where disguises (probably not necessary) and go fill out applications all the time.

but seriously, you can pic and get the safe ones. I did an test of extended release tylenol (10 days $1200) for example.
Another safe one is testing generic drugs. the drug company putting out the generic has to prove bioequivalency to the copywritten one.
