WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush and the first lady paid $186,378 in federal taxes on income of $765,800 for last year.
The president and Mrs. Bush contributed $78,100 to churches and charitable organizations, including the volunteer fire department in Crawford, Texas, where they own a ranch, according to their tax return, released Friday by the White House.

The Bushes' adjusted gross income of $765,800 was about $30,600 higher than the year before. They paid $27,474 in state property taxes on the ranch?up about $1,000 from the previous year.

Thanks Wayne for the article about Mr. and Mrs. Bush paying their taxes. It's good to know that our commander in chief pays taxes and does it totally above board like every Christian should. It's further good to know that he donates to charity.

I guess this proves that Mr. and Mrs. Bush are honest and pay their fair share. Evidence such as you have produced goes a long way to show the American people how good this family is, expecially for the little guys who benefit from his policies.

Thanks again Wayne for showing me the light. No doubt Clinton did not pay any taxes when he was in the White House. Or if he did, he must have cheated.

I can't help it. Someone has to pick up where Imus left off. I think its a good time for those of us who are tired of the constant lies, misrepresentations, and insults that Wayne dishes out on a daily basis to speak up.

I have spoken to many other members here at MadJacks and we have agreed to boycott all of Jacks advertisers unless Wayne is banned. A two week suspension is not good enough.

Being called an ambulance chasing attorney on many occasions is deplorable, despicable and should shock everyone, lawyer and non-lawyer alike. We should no longer tolerate this kind of behaviour on the public bandwith.

Recently, Wayne publicly apologize to me and several other members of the bar. We accepted his apology but we will not forget the harm he has caused by his insensitive remarks.

In support of the boycott I have cancelled all my insurance policies and will not buy insurance ever again as long as Wayne is a member of this forum.
